Step back in time with this authentic vintage apothecary glass bottle #4, manufactured by T.C.W. Co. USA (The T.C. Wheaton Glass Company). This clear glass bottle is a beautiful piece of pharmaceutical history and collectible piece of American glass history.
Dr. Theodore Corson Wheaton founded the T. C. Wheaton Company in 1888. It was located at 917 No. Second Street, Millville, New Jersey. This company was well-known for producing drug and screw-cap tablet vials as Theodore Wheaton was particularly interested in pharmaceutical glassware. The embossed markings on this bottle were used from 1900 thru 1940. This bottle was in storage cabinet in an old pharmacy which dated back to 1898. It looks new but may have been used.
