Central State Bank Hutchinson, Kansas and the Southwest domed glass paperweight. This is a nice piece of advertising history.
On April 21, 1915, the Central State Bank organization, which was chartered by the State, purchased the "Times Building" at 100 S. Main St., Hutchinson and remodeled it. The Central State Bank opened July 26, 1915, with F.J. Altswager as president. In 1956, they built a new building at 101 W. Ave. A, with Walter Applegate as president and C.O. Mammel as vice president. The Central State Bank served Hutchinson for 103 years. It was sold to Central National Bank, Junction City, Kansas in 2018.
